When others did cultural groups, the non-cultural group had to learn about other cultures and I chose China which I am most familiar with. And these are 5 things I learned about China:

1.  A lot of things are made in China.
2. China made the first guns.
3. China found rice and farmed it.
4. Chinese people always eat rice.
5. The Chinese also made gunpowder.

Today we had to review the Amorangi and Millies trip through time book and I find it funny, serious and scary sometimes. I hope they make a sequel on who the woman that told Amorangi and Millie what to do when they try going back to the future. My favorite part of the book is when they find their mom and have to give back all of the things they stole or took from their ancestors. If I could tell the author anything I would ask him why you would choose you’re families history out of anything else?

2 Days ago we had a trip to a museum called the Maritime Museum and we had learned a few things about the place and its history of boats and the history of the people who made the boats. I have learned a few things when I was there:

1. They navigated by stars, whales, moon, sun and birds.
2. There was a famous person that made a boat called the Ted Ashby boat and the maker was named after Ted Ashby.
3.  To turn the boat we had to use a wheel that was at the back of the boat instead of the front of the boat.

If I could be any animal I would be a human. Because humans rule basically the entire world and have pets and an economy that will make the human race fair instead of having to hunt them down yourself.  They also have technology that makes doing things 10x easier to do things like cleaning. They also have games and stuff to help them get happier like games.

Today we had to make a post about making beeswax photos about how we made beeswax clothes. There were many beeswax cloths that we had to hang and make and we also had the option to take it home or donate it to the school. I chose to take it.

If I could make my own animal it would be a dog, goat and a kangaroo. I chose this combination because the dog could deceive someone with their cuteness and a goat could ram into things and a kangaroo could jump high to get onto tall things.  Its special ability is the Destroying Dive where it jumps high and dives into its enemies with his horns. I think i will name it the Dogoaroo
